The Black and White Trend

Happy Friday Darlings,

The black and white trend is a classic combination that i grew up knowing and loving. It remains all so sophisticated and bold, every woman or man should invest in pieces with such an exquisite blend of colors. The contrast is beaut and cannot be ignored.

I wore this to work, two Mondays ago, i just woke up and felt like having a pink party lol! I did not care if it was a Monday....step out of that cliche wardrobe decision and wear what you like, provided your are still dressed appropriately, who makes these rules anyway!

I particularly love the last photo, i look excited and that's a good thing....

Cold Crush

Hallos everyone,

Its a cold morning in Lagos and i am totally okay with that. I promised a personal style post in my last post and here it is.

Polka Dots are a trend that i absolutely adore as i don't possess that much girly-ness on a good day so it helps me look like a happy lady (if that makes any sense). Ankle/Midi length pencil skirts are also very feminine and make me reckon that my style is kind of more mature and minimalist these days.

Though hard to walk in, especially when worn with heels, it is all so elegant. For a woman with curves, say YES to ankle length skirts that embrace your curves!

A lot has been happening in my life this January but i choose to stay positive and believe that this is my year, regardless.

A few of my friends are pregnant and its so fun watching their bellies grow and lives change (literally). I pray for them everyday and can't wait for my god-kids to be here!

In style news, i got this very lady-like dress over the holidays after weeks of haunting until i finally got it in my size. I love the cut and fit plus its not a go-to item in my closet, so i was glad to acquire.

Hey Guys!!!

Happy new year to y'all. Hope you guys had a good holiday season.

Well 2013 is here and its time to set the tone for the year, in every aspect of life and with God on our side plus hardwork, testimonies are on the way!

I wore this beaut! dress gifted to me for my birthday last year, to an engagement party last weekend. Loved the style, length, fit, everything, i guess that's the reason its mine lol!

I hate people in my background but these pictures were taken in a hurry so bear with me....

There was a vintage meet at this point haha!

It was more of a concert than an engagement, Lagos people tho!

Style Post - Mint + Red

Hey Guys,

Hope your week has been off to a great start! The year is literally running to an end and every other thing is along with it. I am mentally and physically exhausted, can't wait to get time off to do nothing but relax into the new year.

Started thinking about 2013 yet??? Remember those who fail to plan, plan to fail !  I have started writing those plans on tables and making them plain with faith as big as ever, halleluyah!

Moving on from the serious life issues segment lol (this sounds like a TV show), i had to go to an event on saturday where so much drama ensued before and after but on the flip side, i launched my mint bandage dress from french connection that i got on a sale off a great blog called forstylesake a few months ago.

Worn with a red blazer with rust striped detail, i felt like mint and red were made for each other. I made sure to take pictures in the midst of every other thing going on, as a focused blogger and i am happy i did : )

All these were after a very delicious plate of rice, fanta and red velvet so forgive me if i look swollen lol!

Style Post: Neon Orange and Stripes

Hey Guys,

How was your weekend ???  Mine was short lived so i cannot wait for this weekend to come by already lol! Anywhoo, its the last month of the year and i thank God for how far he has kept me, you and the blog : )

A thankful heart is like medicine to the soul indeed

In style matters, Striped skirts have been in for a while because they are sexy, flirty and enhance the goodies for those who have them! I fell in love with this body con number and spotted it to work over a month ago. 

Asides from the obvious stares at my backside which i was'nt too happy about, i thought it was a simple and nice look.

I want to try the skirt with different colors of tops as the combination (black and white) is very flexible and works just fine!

Style Post - Geometric print

Hello People,

Prints have been this year's best thing, at least as far as fashion/style is concerned.

All manner of prints (aztec, paisley, geometric, animal, floral etc) have been seen on the runway and high street because they are bold, adventrous and fun.

I spotted this geometric print/color block blouse to work two Thursdays ago, used it as Photo of the Day that day and promised a full post on it which is here : )

These days i find myself wearing just one ring.... life is really in phases cuz a while back, i could'nt have less than three on at a time !!!

These are my go-to work shoes, i especially love the heels because they are block and comfy...i can almost run as fast as Bolt (i wish) in them.

Women need to take a cue from this and wear shoes they feel extra comfortable in to work, to avoid back aches and stuff later in life.

I mean you can splurge sometimes (we all do) but more often than not, do keep away from silly inches to work

Total Recall

Hey Hunnies,


Hope your week has been fruitful.

So i saw Total Recall - the movie last night and i was wowed...loved every single minute of it.  It kept  me on the edge of my sit throughout as opposed to that mistake called Dark knight Rises lol.

I saw it after my training so my outfit was werkish and i had to use my ipad for photos... bear with me.

Kate Beckinsale was beautiful and merciless whilst Jessica Biel and Colin Farell (he's too cute by the way) kept it real every step of the way...i absolutely loved it !!!!
