How are things???

I'm uber excited today, its my birthday and even though I'm at work, i can feel the love going round and round me in circles : )

I am totally grateful for the gift of life and hope for a better year ahead, filled with God's blessings !

I took a quick snap at work and ironically i have two gifts on (neckpiece/earrings and palazzos) at the moment.

I'm supposed to go to dinner after work and get to wear my virgos lounge dress i won.... can't wait.

I'd keep you guys updated with all the rest of the deets.... until then i am having myself an exciting day : )

Tito's Birthday Do !

Hey Guys,

How is everyone ? I am so excited about the week coming to an end....saturday looms !!! There's loads of things happening this weekend in Lagos but typical me, i aint interested, i just want to chill.

Last week Friday was my dear friend's birthday and it was a great time. Nothing too elaborate, just a group of girls and her guy with a delicious cake and drinks.

Typical me, i took pictures and more pictures lol! Thankfully, we were all of like minds so no one complained : )

Steph's Surprise Bridal Do

Hello darlings,

How are we ???

So, i logged in to find out i had 5 new followers and 10,331 page views and i'm grateful for this. Thanks to everyone who has ever stopped by to read !!! As you read, pls join the site and lets have fun on my fierce playground.

I joined a site called Independent Fashion Bloggers and my oh my... there are fashion bloggers in this world ! I am overwhelmed by the amount of bloggers from different continents expressing their limitless love for clothes, shoes, bags, make-up and all things beautiful. I'm hoping to learn new things as i intend to take my blog more seriously, get new followers/follow more people, network and generally have fun with the best thing ever 'style'.

Moving on, i hinted you guys recently that it was my friend's surprise bridal do, two saturdays ago. It was my first time planning such (as i can count my friends with my 10 fingers), but it was fun. I am happy it turned out well.

We had her hubby drop her off and pick her up after 4hrs of madness.... the videos of us dancing are just wild and can't make it up here but thank God, the pictures are decent lol. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Boo !!!

Hey Lovelies,

This happens to be my first scheduled post since i started blogging (almost two years now). I'm doing this because i know i will not blog this weekend.

Its my darling boyfriend's birthday today 11th August and I'm as excited as the celebrant, or even more : )

This post is specifically to wish him many more healthy, fulfiling, prosperous and peaceful years ahead as he clocks plus one today.

I have tried to put a pep in his stylish step so his gifts are what he pretty much needs right now (not telling).

What does he have planned.... no party but its saturday so we shall go some place. I will put up pictures to that effect.

Right now, i am loving him like no other and i hope it stays that way, I met him at a very critical point in my life and I'm grateful he came by....he's a sweetheart!




The young man happens to loooooove sunglasses so much that i fail to understand it sometimes !

A wedding to remember- Part 2 !!!

I know...I've been a shit blogger and i apologize.

Moving on.....i hope your week was good, i can't totally say that about mine but I'm definitely happy the weekend is here ...there's some major fun time ahead : ) Hopefully i will share some photos with you.

I posted Part 1 of "a wedding to remember" last week, see post HERE

Well this post is the Part 2 and it features the engagement bit of the 2-day ceremony. It was a family thing and was done at the bride's house and we sure had fun.

My friend looked really pretty in her traditional outfit and her hubby looked dapper in his- simple and nice.

After a few hours of long talk....we were ready to eat, dance and make merry. My friend cried at some point, making it an emotional ceremony because I'm sure leaving the parents is never an easy thing.

A dear friend is getting married !!!

Hello folks,

How are you guys ???

I am too excited as the weekend to look forward to is finally here : )

My dear friend and her man (whom also happens to be my dear friend) are getting married and i am so happy about it. 

Its really nice when you watch a relationship grow till it becomes a marriage, which is the case with these wonderful friends of mine.  

I thought up this little memory lane board of our times together.... i am so happy for both of them and wish them all i'd ever wish myself when im getting married.

I intend to dance my socks off this weekend, expect pictures of my gorge dress (i hope lol) and fun times with lovely people.

Meanwhile, have u listened to Frank Ocean's nu album ??? Homegirl has channel orange on replay !!!

the weeknd

Last weekend was so funfilled !

It was a famille friend's wedding on saturday and an older friend's house warming and birthday thing on sunday so i had excuses to spot my two new dresses to both events yaaay.

The wedding reception was fun (as is most Lagos weddings filled with puff puff and small chops (my favy).

We (my cousin and jay) munched and enjoyed the music as we watched the couple boogey down on their happy day.  Well planned weddings can be really emotional, the bride looked so excited !

I was gifted this dress by my boo, it reminds me of this illusion dress Alicia Keys wore recently to an event just that hers is body con and longer while mine is structured and shorter. I love it : )

Bag/Accesories - New Look


I was gifted this ring by my darling friend Busola (one of the very few people that know what i like), She's getting married next month and i'm too excited....i finally found a style to sew with the lace material she picked out for her friends.... it shall be major fun !


My cousin was not left out in the style department, in her gorge polka dot jumpsuit which i fancied. I kinda like it when people go against the norm : ) cuz ordinarily you won't think about wearing a jumpsuit to a wedding.

In my opinion, fuller girls nail the jumpsuit trend like no other

Orange Friday

Aloha,

I'm the most excited when its friday, Its just the truth day of the week : )

It was orange Friday two weeks ago and i took style post pictures that haven't made it up here until now.

At least now they have : )

It was also the first time I carried the arm candy my boo got me for christmas : )
