The Military Trend

Hope the week has been fruitful. The weekend is here so happy is the feeling : )

I am not usually fascinated by trends but the military style/trend has been on and off in the past years. The interesting thing is anytime it comes on the scene, its refreshing and fierce in a new way, so cannot be ignored.

The good news for men is that a lot of women find a man in uniform sexy (well i don't) as they seem to possess power/authority. The trend also works for ladies as we seem strong and fearless when we spot the military trend.

The military style can be rocked in pieces like coats/jackets/blazers, cargo/skinny pants and skirts as it all depends on how its worn.

I wore these army green pants by espirit a while back, the color is everything. Its fun, fierce and unforgettable. I want flat shoes in the camo print anyways, so im hunting for.

Elements to look out for when shopping military trend are exaggerated shoulders in blazers, shinny buttons, the camo/army/military print, army style boots, army/olive green colored pieces with gold trimmings or studs.

Very important though is, the camoflage print should be worn carefully to avoid a look too busy or all over the place. For a casual look, accessories can accentuate a playful or fun ensemble while a more dressed up look demands that the rest of the pieces be clean and simple, to achieve the perfect blend.

Bottom line, shop the military trend in all forms !!!
